Carnival came to us with a unique request: design a prototype gangway with an arched frame that could accommodate varying elevations between ship doors and landing points. The solution also needed to be mobile, storable, and easy to deploy for both ADA and non-ADA passenger use. The prototype was delivered to Freeport in the Grand Bahamas for testing.
After a successful trial, Carnival quickly placed a follow-up order for nine additional ramps. All of this came under a tight deadline tied to scheduled sailing dates. Our team pulled together to meet the challenge, delivering every piece on time without compromising quality.
The final set shipped out on July 14, and we’re proud to report that all units are already in active use. The feedback? Incredibly positive. Carnival’s team has expressed their appreciation repeatedly, praising both the speed and craftsmanship of the finished product.
